SKY DIVING COURSE SUMMARYThis is an advanced method of skydiving training which has been developed in the USA to enable people to take full advantage of one to one training and learning while in Sky diving freefall. Accelerated Freefall courses are one of most popular programs here in Spain.
As an AFF student you make your first jump on the latest, purpose built equipment with a state of the art square canopy. Your first jump will be a freefall descent from between 12,000 ft and 15,000 ft with two AFF instructors jumping with you and and maintaining grips on your body and parachute harness. These two AFF instructors assist with stability and provide in-air teaching information. Prior to each and every jump the student receives extensive and thorough training, covering both the freefall learning objectives and the operation of the equipment used in the program.
Successful students graduate to having only one AFF instructor accompanying them by Level 4. The instructor in freefall will provide instructional input and subsequently critique the performance. Students normally graduate from the AFF program on or around their eighth jump.
At this stage they have mastered most of the freefall skills that would take their conventional counterparts about 20 - 30 jumps to achieve. The AFF program caters not only for the person who wishes to graduate and become a skydiver, but also provides an opportunity for those people who would like to make one freefall descent in a safe and controlled environment - AFF Level 1.
After the Accelerated Free Fall skydiving Course in Spain you will need to complete 10 consolidation jumps. These are solo free fall jumps where you build your experience of skydiving. After successful completion of these 10 jumps, you are able to jump at any drop zone in the world.
Typical Itinerary The Ground school starts at 9 am and takes the best part of the day (approximately 6 hours). The training comprises lectures and physical activities covering all aspects of the skydives that you will be making. You will learn about the equipment, orientation, what to do in case of an emergency, reserves, malfunctions, pre jump briefing, achieving stability and body positioning and altitude awareness. The size of an AFF class is restricted to a maximum of three people. The tuition is on a very close personal basis and yet is informal and relaxed, often on a one to one basis. In this environment the student can assimilate a great amount of knowledge in a short period of time.
Environment The Skydiving school is located near Seville in Spain. One of the most beautiful and culturally rich cities in Spain.
