We will give you an experience that you won't forget, rather than just taking you to another kite location. We know where there are un crowded beaches, flat water, reef breaks, waves and steady wind. Yes, you can Kitesurf on Mui Ne beach, and we gladly set you up with our partner there, but what about something different, a place no one has gone before? We have an unique kitesurf trip for you: Kiting in the best possible place, seeing the real Vietnam; how the people live, eating local Vietnamese foods, seeing their cultures and traditions, seeing the sites, doing other activities like surfing or snorkelling in the morning and having a damn good time while you do it all. With this trip we travel by bus and we will pick you up and bring you back with our cool bus, where your stuff is safe during kiting. Vietnamese have high standard accommodation and during this Kitesurfing trip you will stay in clean and tidy, 3 to 4 star air-conditioned accommodation. You'll have own room, no sharing... Some places have wireless so you can bring your laptop if you need to. But what makes the kiting so special? Our partner had to get arrested by the army to find this place for a start. Our best kite location is in a security border zone, so you cannot even go there unless you have a government permit! We went through all that. We make your trip all about kiting and having fun, good food, good accommodation and interesting things to check out and do, as comfortable as possible. Our guides have been living in Vietnam for many years and they all have IKO instructor certification. During the trip there will always be 2 guides with and a beach boy for assistance. To run this ultimate kitesurf trip we need a minimum of 6 people( and a maximum of 14). Our departure dates are based on a minimum of 6 guests . What is the best time to kitesurf in Vietnam? The best time kitesurf here is from mid November till mid April. Light to moderate winds pick up throughout the day to be strongest in the afternoon (averaging 25 to 35 knots). From October until January it's the hurricane season. Needless to say, there is a bit of swell, so bring your wave riding board or even a surfboard. We have a few surfboards big and small for rent. Kitesurfing Vietnam 4 day tour ItineraryDay 1: 7:30 / 8:00: Pick you up from your hotel in Mui Ne, 2.5 hour drive, stopping for lunch and a swim. 12 Noon: Arriving at our best kite location. Kitesurf all afternoon on beautiful flat water. 18:00: At sundown we pack up and head to the local town 19:00 checking into hotel by 7pm. Dinner and a few drinks. You can indulge in a sauna and/or a massage if you want. Sleep - dreaming of kiting. Day 2: 9:00: Breakfast time. Visit the local markets. See traditional Cham pottery and textile weaving being handmade. Visit ancient Cham Towers (only if no wind) 12:30: Eat an early lunch and get to the beach as soon as there's good wind. Kitesurf all afternoon. Waves and flat water areas 18:00: Build fire on beach at sunset. Have a few beers and a beach BBQ. Back to hotel to sleep. Day 3: 8:30: breakfast. Go to the beach snorkeling and surfing at reef break all morning. 12:30: Lunch in local restaurant. Kitesurf all afternoon. Downwinder. 18:00: Sunset back to the hotel, big meal, free time in town or go for sauna/massage Day 4: 8:00: Wake up and breakfast. Check out by 9 am. Drive back toward Mui Ne. Stop about 40 km before Mui Ne for lunch. 13:00: Pump up and head off on massive down winder, playing in waves the whole way. Stop at the fishing village for a snack and head around the corner to Mui Ne arriving at Wax Bar on sunset for drinks. From there we will get you and all your gear back to your hotels.
Included in the Vietnam Kitesurfing Trip:· Pick you up at your hotel · Transport · Great local cuisine - seafood, loads of fruit, some weird local lizard and frog dishes to try · Guides. are there to help you, but we can't save beginners on the big downwinders. Sorry beginners... All guides have their IKO instructors certificate, · Access to Spare parts Not included in the Vietnam Kitesurfing Trip:Equipment (cheap to hire). Best to bring your own. Bring every bit of kiting equipment, everything you have, especially your small kites and a wave riding board if you have one, as we have found a perfect reef break. Don't forget suntan cream.
You will have to sign a waiver form before going on the trip. We will have a full first aid box and our guides have first aid certificates. It is advisable to have your own insurance. We will being doing our best to make it a hazard free trip. |
